Real Estate Agents

CONTACT US
As real estate agents, you’re often the first person a client turns to when they need a solicitor. Here’s why agents recommend Bennett Carroll.

Guarantee

We will make sure, as far as possible, that your client’s matter settles on time and offer an on time guarantee.

No Legal Jargon

We will make sure that everything is explained in simple English so that you are not constantly having to “give advice”, to fill in the gaps provided by the parties Solicitors.

Communication

If there is an issue to be resolved, we will keep you in the loop. After all, you are the only one that has a relationship with both of the parties and can help resolve that issue.

⚠️ IS YOUR CLIENT'S TRANSACTION AT RISK? Queensland property law changed on 1 August 2025. With new mandatory seller disclosure rules (including Form 2 requirements), stricter settlement deadlines, deposit and contract disputes, and increased ATO compliance, a standard sale now carries more risk than it used to, and more ways for it to fall over on you. A minor procedural error or missed deadline can mean a forfeited deposit, a voided contract, or a client walking away, and a lost commission with them. If the transaction isn't backed by a firm experienced in property litigation, you're relying on nothing going wrong.

Conveyancing Across Queensland, No Office Visit Needed, Fixed Fee Pricing

Whether your client is buying, selling, or transferring, we make the legal side move as fast as your sale needs to. Everything can be done electronically, by phone, email, or video, so nothing has to wait on an office visit. If a client prefers face-to-face, we also have offices across South East Queensland.

We’ve been leaders in electronic conveyancing since 2018, settling securely through PEXA. For you, that means fewer delays waiting on paperwork, faster processing, and one less thing that can hold up your settlement date.

The Property Law Act 2023 didn’t just change standard sales, it also affects deals real estate agents handle involving off-the-plan and instalment contracts, two transaction types that carry more risk and more ways for a deal to unravel after your client’s signed.

Off-the-Plan Contracts:

Sunset clauses can give a developer grounds to walk away from a contract, sometimes years after your client signed. We review these terms upfront so your client, and your commission, aren’t left exposed if a project runs late.

Instalment Contracts:

Staged deposits and payment plans come with strict buyer protections under the new legislation. We make sure these agreements are compliant from the start, so a listing doesn’t come unstuck months down the track over a technicality.
